ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,330, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Borealis AG (Vienna).
"Process for preparing polypropylene composition" was invented by Pauli Leskinen (Helsinki) and Luca Boragno (Pichling, Austria).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a process for producing a polypropylene composition by sequential polymerization said polypropylene composition having low sealing initiation temperature (SIT) and high melting point (Tm), presenting thus a broad sealing window."
The patent was filed on May 24, 2022, under Application No. 17/751,995.
