ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,286,640, issued on April 29, was assigned to BOLT THREADS INC. (Emeryville, Calif.).

"Modified strains for improved secretion of recombinant proteins" was invented by Thomas Stevens (Emeryville, Calif.).
