ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,184, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to BOEGLI-GRAVURES SA (Marin-Epagnier, Switzerland).

"Method and tool for embossing of biodegradable paper to fabricate cigarette filters" was invented by Charles Boegli (Marin-Epagnier, Switzerland), Gabriel Dumitru (Nussbaumen, Switzerland), Luis Antonio Sanches (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), Tadas Lukas Lisauskas (Encinitas, Calif.) and Paulius Jurgutis (Farmington, Mich.).
