ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,392,028, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Board of Trustees of Michigan State University (East Lansing, Mich.).

"Laser activated luminescence system" was invented by Marcos Dantus (Okemos, Mich.) and Timothy A. Grotjohn (Okemos, Mich.).
