ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,441,377, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to BNSF Railway Co. (Fort Worth, Texas).

"Systems and methods for identifying potential deficiencies in railway environment objects" was invented by Dennis William Morgart (Topeka, Kan.), Joshua J. McBain (Lawrence, Kan.), Corey Tremain Pasta (Topeka, Kan.) and Aaron Thomas Ratledge (Haslet, Texas).
