ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,476,289, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Blue Line Battery Inc. (Whitewater, Wis.).

"Modular battery" was invented by Dustin Jay Herte (Verona, Wis.).
