ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,368,279, issued on July 22, was assigned to Blue Laser Fusion Inc. (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Airplane configured with a high intensity pulse laser generation system and method" was invented by Shuji Nakamura (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Hiroaki Ohta (Palo Alto, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In an example, the present invention provides an airplane or aerospace vehicle system configured with a high intensity pulse laser generation system."
