ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,792, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to BLUE CUBE IP LLC (St. Louis).
"Hardener formulation for cold curing epoxy systems" was invented by Markus Schroetz (Ochsenhausen, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein is a hardener composition comprising (a) a first adduct comprising a reaction product of a liquid epoxy resin and isophorone diamine; (b) a second adduct comprising a reaction product of a liquid epoxy resin and m-xylylenediamine; and (c) an accelerator component comprising methanesulfonic acid."
The patent was filed on July 29, 2021, under Application No. 18/040,566.
