ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. PP37,036, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to BLOOM FRESH INTERNATIONAL Ltd. (London).
"Grapevine plant named 'BLOMG06'" was invented by David Cain (Lutz, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein is a new distinct variety of grapevine plant named 'BLOMG06'. 'BLOMG06' is characterized by producing medium sized narrow ellipsoid red berries having very crisp texture with a with a sweet neutral flavor that ripens in late season. Berries are borne on medium size clusters which are loose and do not require gibberellin applications to thin clusters. Gibberellin is required to increase berry size."
