ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,246,732, issued on March 11, was assigned to BlackBerry Ltd. (Waterloo, Canada).
"Vehicle preparation based on environmental data" was invented by Aaron Humphrey Pesa (Ottawa).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In some examples, a system receives data relating to an environment of a vehicle. Based on the received data, the system initiates a vehicle preparation action by actuating an adjustable component of the vehicle, the vehicle preparation action to ready the vehicle for a user prior to operation of the vehicle."
The patent was filed on March 15, 2022, under Application No. 17/654,842.
