ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,413,119, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Black & Decker Inc. (New Britain, Conn.).

"Power tool" was invented by Matthew J. Velderman (Baltimore), Andrew E. Seman Jr. (Pylesville, Md.), Daniel J. White (Baltimore), Paul Becke (Stewartstown, Pa.) and William A. Rigdon (Baltimore).
