ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,529,670, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to BL TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Minnetonka, Minn.).

"Inorganic carbon (IC) excluded conductivity measurement of aqueous samples" was invented by Oliver Chou (Boulder, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Devices and methods are disclosed for determination of conductivity without inorganic carbon contribution in aqueous process streams. In particular, devices and methods for determining the ionic conductivity of aqueous process streams containing dissolved CO2."
