ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,457,997, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to BIRD-X INC. (Elmhurst, Ill.).
"Poultry brooder" was invented by Michael P. Mackin (Chicago).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to certain aspects of the present disclosure, a brooder is provided. The brooder includes a heater assembly comprising a heater base. A trough is disposed on the heater base and is formed by an inner wall and an outer wall. A tube is rotatably supported by the inner wall. A dome is adjustably supported on the tube."
The patent was filed on March 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/180,813.
