ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,712, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to BIOTRONIK AG (Buelach, Switzerland).

"Capacitive sensor for precisely measuring high strain on the surface of a balloon of a balloon catheter" was invented by Hueseyin Yilmaz (Wetzikon, Switzerland) and Jeremy Wernli (Wettingen, Switzerland).
