ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,754, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to BioSpyder Technologies Inc. (Carlsbad, Calif.).
"Attenuators" was invented by Joanne M. Yeakley (Encinitas, Calif.), Bruce Seligmann (Tucson, Calif.) and Joel McComb (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods for detecting nucleic acid sequences, where attenuator oligonucleotides are provided to reduce the number of detection products resulting from highly abundant sequences."
The patent was filed on July 6, 2022, under Application No. 17/858,984.
