ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,973, issued on April 22, was assigned to Biomet Manufacturing LLC (Warsaw, Ind.).

"Knee sizing and balancing instrument" was invented by Jerry J. Lorio (Benton, Ark.) and Brian A. Uthgenannt (Cricklade, Great Britain).
