US Patent Issued to BIC Violex Single Member on Aug. 5 for "Razor cartridge comprising mechanochromic layer" (Greek Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,377,563, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to BIC Violex Single Member S.A. (Anoixi, Greece).

"Razor cartridge comprising mechanochromic layer" was invented by Anargyros Karakalas (Anoixi, Greece).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a razor cartridge including a housing having a front edge and a rear edge; at least one razor blade disposed between the front edge and the rear edge; and a mechanochromic layer disposed on the at least one razor blade, wherein the mechanochromic layer comprises a mechanochromic material."
