ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,333,605, issued on June 17, was assigned to BGC PARTNERS INC. (New York).

"Interprogram communication using messages related to events and actions on an exchange" was invented by Howard W. Lutnick (New York), Bijoy Paul (New York) and Michael Sweeting (Surrey, Great Britain).
