US Patent Issued to BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals on Nov. 4 for "Method of stimulating neutrophil survival and reducing neutropenia" (New York, California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,638, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals Inc. (New York).

"Method of stimulating neutrophil survival and reducing neutropenia" was invented by Ramon Mohanlal (New York), Lan Huang (New York) and George Kenneth Lloyd (San Carlos, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are plinabulin and the use for reducing neutropenia. Some embodiments relate to reducing the docetaxel induced neutropenia using plinabulin."
