ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,180, issued on April 15, was assigned to Berry Plastics Corp. (Evansville, Ind.).
"Polymeric material for container" was invented by David Dezhou Sun (Evansville, Ind.), Philip A. Driskill (Newburgh, Ind.) and Rolland Strasser (Hamden, Conn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A formulation for producing a polymeric material including polypropylene, a chemical blowing agent, and optional components as described."
The patent was filed on Dec. 28, 2020, under Application No. 17/135,048.
