ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,351,382, issued on July 8, was assigned to Berry Global Inc. (Evansville, Ind.).
"Beverage container" was invented by Braxton J. Bragg (Evansville, Ind.), Jonathan Eickhoff (Evansville, Ind.) and Jeffrey A. Mann (Evansville, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An insulative beverage container includes an outer cup and an inner gap support. The outer cup includes a cup brim, a cup floor, and a cup body. The inner gap support is configured to fit within an interior space of the outer cup and includes a gap-support brim, a gap-support floor, and gap-support body."
