ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,477,126, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Beijing Bytedance Network Technology Co. Ltd. (Beijing) and Bytedance Inc. (Los Ageles, Calif.).

"Cross-component prediction using multiple components" was invented by Junru Li (Beijing), Meng Wang (Beijing), Li Zhang (San Diego) and Kai Zhang (San Diego).
