ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,520,949, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Bedgear LLC (Farmingdale, N.Y.).
"Bedding system" was invented by Eugene Alletto Jr. (Glen Head, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bedding system includes a base having a bracket and a cushion having a rod. The rod is configured to removably engage the bracket to couple the cushion to the base in a manner that prevents relative movement between the cushion and the base."
The patent was filed on March 2, 2023, under Application No. 18/116,439.
