ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,538,987, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Bedgear LLC (Farmingdale, N.Y.).

"Negative pressure mattress system" was invented by Eugene Alletto Jr. (Glen Head, N.Y.).
