US Patent Issued to Bedgear on Feb. 3 for "Mattress with rails and method of use" (New York Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,538,988, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Bedgear LLC (Farmingdale, N.Y.).

"Mattress with rails and method of use" was invented by Eugene Alletto Jr. (Glen Head, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A mattress assembly includes a cover having a pocket. A mattress is positioned within the pocket. The mattress includes opposite first and second sides, the first side having a cavity. An insert is positioned within the cavity. Methods of use are disclosed."

The patent was filed on Feb. 26, 2021, under Application No. 17/187,236.
