ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,271, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Bayer HealthCare LLC (Whippany, N.J.).

"Self-orienting syringe and syringe interface" was invented by Kevin Cowan (Allison Park, Pa.), Arthur Uber III (Pittsburgh), Michael Spohn (Fenelton, Pa.), Barry Tucker (Verona, Pa.) and Edward Rhinehart (Monroeville, Pa.).
