ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,278, issued on May 20, was assigned to Bardy Diagnostics Inc..

"Electrocardiography patch" was invented by Jason Felix (Vashon Island, Wash.), Jon Mikalson Bishay (Seattle) and Gust H. Bardy (Carnation, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable electrocardiography device is provided. The wearable electrocardiography device includes a flexible backing, an SpO2 sensor, an adhesive layer, a monitor recorder, a non-conductive receptacle, a feedback button, and a flexible circuit. The SpO2 sensor is provided on the flexible backing."

The patent was filed on Jan. 17, 2025, under Application No. 19/029,540.
