ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,785, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to BARCO N.V. (Kortrijk, Belgium).
"Method and system for colour calibration using a barcode" was invented by Tom Kimpe (Landegem, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method for performing color calibration using barcodes with colored subunits. The barcode can be decoded in a conventional way and the colors of the subunits can be used for color calibration."
