ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,504, issued on March 18, was assigned to BAR-ILAN UNIVERSITY (Ramat Gan, Israel).

"Hydrogen sensors from organometallic precursors" was invented by David Zitoun (Ra'anana, Israel) and Guy Rahamim (Petah Tikva, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides a sensitive and cost-effective hydrogen sensor manufactured by a simple method from organometallic precursors."

The patent was filed on June 6, 2019, under Application No. 15/734,690.
