ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,752, issued on June 17, was assigned to AZURITY PHARMACEUTICALS INC. (Woburn, Mass.).

"Compositions and kits for omeprazole suspension" was invented by Zeus Pendon (Woburn, Mass.) and Steven Dinh (Burlington, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are liquid diluents, formulations, and kits for preparing reconstituted suspensions of a proton pump inhibitor (e.g., omeprazole). The present disclosure also provides formulations for liquid diluents that do not have a tendency for gel formation following exposure to freeze-thaw cycles."
