ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,969, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Axis Wireline Technologies LLC (Canonsburg, Pa.).
"Safe perforation gun system" was invented by Sherrell Ezzell (Victoria, Texas) and David Council Benker (Cedar Park, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A perforation gun that includes a safety mechanism to prevent detonation of the gun system."
