"Image-based matching of color and appearance of coatings containing effect pigments, using a cosine comparison methodology" was invented by Sebastian Hurtado Parra (Philadelphia), Neil R. Murphy (Audubon, N.J.), Francisco Miguel Martinez Verdu (Upper Darby, Pa.), Anthony Calabria (Thornton, Pa.), Larry Steenhoek (Ellicott City, Md.) and Benjamin Gamoke (Collingswood, N.J.).
