US Patent Issued to AWI Licensing on April 22 for "Sag resistant, formaldehyde-free coated fibrous substrate" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,238, issued on April 22, was assigned to AWI Licensing LLC (Wilmington, Del.).

"Sag resistant, formaldehyde-free coated fibrous substrate" was invented by Lida Lu (Coraopolis, Pa.) and Kenneth G. Caldwell (Mountville, Pa.).

The coating includes a crosslinked binder system which forms three dimensional networks when heat cured.
