US Patent Issued to AWA FORGED COMPOSITES on Aug. 12 for "Composite rocker and method of making same" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,420, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to AWA FORGED COMPOSITES LLC (Rolling Hills Estate, Calif.).

"Composite rocker and method of making same" was invented by Bryan Gill (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.), Joseph Abboud (Palos Verdes, Calif.) and Cheyenne Valderrama (Pomona, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rocker for a valve train for an internal combustion engine, wherein at least a portion of the rocker is fabricated from a carbon fiber-resin composite material, and a method for making same."
