ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,395,247, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to AvicenaTech Corp. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
"Coherent fiber bundle parallel optical links" was invented by Robert Kalman (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Bardia Pezeshki (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Alexander Tselikov (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and Cameron Danesh (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A coherent fiber bundle may be used to optically connect an array of microLEDs to an array of photodetectors in an optical communication system."
The patent was filed on March 21, 2024, under Application No. 18/612,669.
