ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,435,003, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to AVERTANA Ltd. (Auckland, New Zealand).
"Cement additive" was invented by James Kevin Obern (Parnell, New Zealand).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides cement additives comprising calcium sulfate and silica which are derived from a material comprising perovskite and silica, along with cements and cementitious products comprising the cement additives. The invention also provides methods for the making the cement additive and cements and cementitious products comprising the cement additives."
The patent was filed on Dec. 16, 2020, under Application No. 17/787,333.
