"Hard top roof removal assist" was invented by Marc Cogswell (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), Larry R. Erickson (Birmingham, Mich.), Robert M. Horner (Ferndale, Mich.), Brian Staley (Bloomfield, Mich.) and Luyao Zhu (Troy, Mich.).
