ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,257,578, issued on March 25, was assigned to ATOMO DIAGNOSTICS PTY Ltd. (Sydney).
"Integrated fluid module and test device" was invented by John Kelly (Sydney), Huw Wallis (Sydney), Keith Bocchicchio (Sydney) and Shing Yan Kong (Sydney).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An integrated testing device and fluid module are disclosed, as well as a method of manufacture. Fluid module contains a reservoir containing a test fluid, and a control vessel. The reservoir discharges test fluid into the control vessel, which discharges the test fluid in a controlled way to a test component."
