ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,417,912, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to ATOMERA Inc. (Los Gatos, Calif.).

"Radio frequency (RF) semiconductor devices including a ground plane layer having a superlattice" was invented by Hideki Takeuchi (San Jose, Calif.) and Robert J. Mears (Wellesley, Mass.).
