ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,425, issued on July 1, was assigned to Aspeya US Inc. (Stamford, Conn.).
"Dry powder formulations for inhalation" was invented by Kambiz Yadidi (Los Angeles).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A respirable dry powder including acetylsalicylic acid in particles has a mass median aerodynamic diameter (MMAD) within a range of about 0.5 micro metre to about 10 micro metre. The respirable dry powder may contain a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, such as a phospholipid, in an amount ranging from about 0.1% (w/w) to about 10% (w/w) of the particles."
The patent was filed on Jan. 31, 2023, under Application No. 18/161,988.
