ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,427,113, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to ASAHI KASEI K.K. (Tokyo).
"Cellulose composition, tablet, and orally disintegrating tablet" was invented by Tadahiro Kumagai (Tokyo) and Yuji Hayashi (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cellulose composition containing cellulose, glucose and sorbitol, wherein a total content of glucose and sorbitol is 0.7 mg or more and 4.0 mg or less per 5 g of the cellulose composition. A tablet contains the cellulose composition. An orally disintegrating tablet contains the cellulose composition."
