ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,345,782, issued on July 1, was assigned to Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corp. (Tokyo).

"Magnetic sensor" was invented by Ken Tanaka (Tokyo), Kenji Kai (Tokyo) and Takuya Ishida (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A die pad, a signal processing IC, an adhesive layer, and at least one magnetoelectric conversion element included in a magnetic sensor are encapsulated by a molding resin.
