ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,230,832, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Corp. (Tokyo).

"Separator having silane-modified polyolefin and polyethylene, and method for producing the same" was invented by Xun Zhang (Tokyo), Ryo Kuroki (Tokyo), Yuki Fukunaga (Tokyo) and Hiromi Kobayashi (Tokyo).
