ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,809, issued on July 22, was assigned to Artience Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) and TOYOCOLOR Co. LTD. (Tokyo).
"Aqueous inkjet ink and printed matter" was invented by Mayuko Hayamizu (Tokyo), Yuki Sasaki (Tokyo), Ryosuke Yabuki (Tokyo) and Shunsuke Nakamura (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an aqueous inkjet ink, including: a colorant; a water-soluble organic solvent; a surfactant; and water, wherein the water-soluble organic solvent includes a diol having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and a hexylene glycol, and the surfactant includes an acetylenediol having an HLB value of 10 or less."
