ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,471,908, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Arthrex Inc. (Naples, Fla.).

"Suture-implant construct and method of deploying the same" was invented by Joshua J. Best (Naples, Fla.), Andrew K. Osika (Naples, Fla.) and Kenneth T. Helenbolt (Naples, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates to suture-implant constructs, surgical devices configured to deliver suture-implant constructs, and methods of repairing damaged tissue."

The patent was filed on Aug. 3, 2023, under Application No. 18/364,540.
