ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,011, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to ARTERICA INC. (Santa Rosa, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a vascular closure device adapted for use in closing a puncture in a blood vessel after e.g. a percutaneous interventional procedure.
