ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,328,539, issued on June 10, was assigned to ARRIS Enterprises LLC (Horsham, Pa.).

"Resource targeted scheduling for a PON network" was invented by Shawn W. Warner (Pepperell, Mass.), Brian K. Gilbride (Braintree, Mass.), Tarkesh R. Mahajan (Westford, Mass.) and Jonathan R. Sawin (Tyngsboro, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system for resource targeted scheduling for a PON network."
