ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,443,538, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Arm Ltd. (Cambridge, Great Britain).
"Cache systems" was invented by Olof Henrik Uhrenholt (Lund, Sweden), Edvard Fielding (Trondheim, Norway) and Ole Henrik Jahren (Trondheim, Norway).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of operating a cache system is disclosed. Information indicating a link between associated header and payload cache entries is maintained. The link information may be used to reduce cache coherency traffic."
The patent was filed on Dec. 16, 2022, under Application No. 18/067,180.
