ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,402,547, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to Arizona Board of Regents acting for and on behalf Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, Ariz.).
"Flexible memory systems and related methods" was invented by Ying-Chen Chen (Flagstaff, Ariz.) and John Gibbs (Flagstaff, Ariz.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Implementations of a resistive random access memory may include a bottom electrode; a helical layer of hafnium oxide coupled to the bottom electrode; an isolation layer coupled to the helical layer; and a top electrode coupled to the isolation layer."
