ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,394,274, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Aristocrat Technologies Inc. (Las Vegas).

"Electronic gaming machine and system with dynamic reel wall deformation through metamorphic reel symbol expansion" was invented by David Marsh (Charlottesville, Va.) and Karl Roelofs (Charlottesville, Va.).
